I started my fitness journey just like you…

I used to hide my body under baggy clothes, and was suffering from tension headaches almost everyday. I was so intimidated by the gym, and reasoned that going once or twice per week wasn’t really worth it, so I avoided going at all.

It started small. Just 20 or 30 minutes a few times during the week. I would hide on the cardio equipment or take a pair of dumbbells to a quiet corner trying not to be seen.

But soon enough, I was bit by the fitness bug. I went from avoiding exercise to becoming a gym rat, and spending hours at the gym every day thinking it would get faster results.

That lit my fire to become a personal trainer in 2019, which was just about the last thing I would have predicted for myself when I graduated college with a biology degree, and zero athletic experience.

I’ve since won my WBFF Pro Status, completed courses in anatomy, biomechanics and program design as well as my Certified Physical Preparedness Specialist.

I’m currently working towards my Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism certification, and have big goals for the future!


I’ve been in your shoes. I know how it feels to hate your body, and I want you to realize that you don’t have to live that way.

The Personal Stuff

I’m an Atlanta native, but currently call Tucson, Arizona home. My husband and I share our home with 3 pit bull rescues, so it’s never a dull moment around here!

My favorite things are walking my dogs, iced coffee and peanut butter. I love bicep curls and front squats, but if I could only pick one exercise to do for the rest of my life, it would probably be deadlifts.
